AUSBILDUNG PROGRAMME
Ausbildung:
Ausbildung or duale Ausbildung is German term for Vocational Training or Apprenticeship, which means getting theoretical and practical insight into a particular profession. It is more inclined towards providing students with the practical use of the theoretical knowledge in various streams. In fact, the Training of the candidates consists of classroom instruction at a vocational school and the job at a company. In other words, the Trainees get their vocational training in two different locations: in the educational institution where they deal with the theoretical knowledge and at the company, where they are given the platform to implement their theoretical knowledge into practical use. Thus, the trainees get exposed to the practical use of their theoretical knowledge at the same time, or better put, both Theory and practice go hand in hand. The Trainees therefore gain their professional experience during their training itself.
Thanks to its features, this programme is attractive, beneficial and popular not only among the trainees, but also among the employers and that is the reason why German companies promote and participate in this Programme. In fact, the trainees get their financial independence and the employers get the professionals, who are well trained, experienced and already aware about the company, its working model, processes and other employees.
This programme is actively promoted by the German Government abroad, specially in India, because German society is ageing and facing a shortage of skilled manpower annually. So, this programme is win- win situation for both countries, as India is having surplus working population leading to unemployment, and Germany having deficit working population.
Advantages of Ausbildung:
- The Trainees Engage in the application part or implementation
- They are also paid for the work, they engage in under practical part of training at company and thus they don’t need to depend on their parents for money. They earn their own money.
